Cunning troll v. well-read knight

Untitled Poem

Cautious through the forests stalks
a mighty troll, and where it walks
the leaves go wilty, bark comes off
and bugs and critters gag and cough.
Up ahead of troll and stench
a might knight rests of a bench
and thinks of other trolls, now slain
and wounds they left, still causing pain.
The tale says the wiser foe
will win the coming fight, although
we soon will see that brawn and steel
win more than brains or how we feel.
The troll is strong, the knight is armed,
and that will dictate which is harmed.
A cunning troll, a well-read knight,
both lack the wits to skip the fight.
