Untitled Poem

Always keep an edge upon your knife
Know both tears and joy are part of life
Expect the inquisition will return
Be careful in the dry times what you burn
Count to ten before you act in wrath
For cleanliness, a shower beats a bath
Sometimes symptoms cause the greater harm
Put the cities where it’s hard to farm
If your lawn needs water, change you lawn
Don’t suppress a hiccup, sneeze, or yawn
Don’t mistake a vict’ry for a win
Don’t think health and beauty mean be thin
Make a list of what you hope to do
Digestion doesn’t care how much you chew
Apologize if others think you rude
Always eat before you shop for food
The tongue is less important than the ear
Tell me more: the sweetest words to hear
Know both joy and tears are part of life
Always keep an edge upon your knife
